Nature Reserve

Find an exclusive experience within our Private Reserve. This outstanding expedition takes place every day at 2:30 pm and lasts approximately 1:30 hours. Our host will take you on an ATV around the property to visit the flora and fauna of the rainforest at its finest. You will be able to see ocelots, margay tigers, jaguar, tapir, deer, wild pigs and many others.

Monkey Island

The property has 5 lagoons and the largest one is called Laguna Quexil. In this lagoon we have two islands and on one of them we breed and care for monkeys. Every morning we prepare fresh fruits and vegetables to feed them. We offer a unique boat tour to visit Monkey Island. You will be able to see them come down from the top of the trees to eat their food and you may even have the chance to feed them. They are really lovely and friendly. We can tailor your tour with your choice of food and drinks.

Bird watching

Guatemala offers over 700 unique species of birds in their natural habitat. Due to its diverse climate, with over 300 microclimates and over 30% of its lands being protected areas, bird watching can be enjoyed in any of the country's 7 regions.

We explore 3 different sites in the Petén rainforest, where we will cover as many species for professional and amateur birders. This tour can be tailored to observe specific birds to add to your private collection.

We can arrange a tour with one of our local Audubon Society-trained bird specialists. You can start at any time you like, but the earlier the better. The tour will take you through the entire property, which is made up of three different ecosystems: rainforest, subtropical forest, and savanna, where you can observe different types of birds. You will need special equipment: preferably long pants, comfortable hiking shoes, binoculars, and a camera if you want to take photos. Some of the birds that have been seen recently are:
